What We Do

GHMS’ key programs include traditional shelter adoption services, promotion of responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter clinics, a pet pantry for those facing economic hardships and vaccination services.
GMHS also offers a variety of interactive, educational programs to promote responsible pet ownership, dog safety, animal-based careers, compassion for animals and the role of animal welfare organizations in the community.
GMHS strives to be a beacon for companion animals and its culture of collaboration and service benefits from the generosity of the Gloucester, Mathews and Middlesex communities.
