Many companies have workplace giving programs that make non-profit donations easy and increase the impact of gifts. Workplace giving programs allow employees’ GMHS contributions to be deducted directly from their paychecks, and with matching gifts programs, companies match the donations employees make.
Lend your support to the thousands of animals entering GMHS each year in the Middle Peninsula by designating the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society in your workplace giving, combined federal campaign (CFC code 26602) or through the United Way Campaign (Code 6125).
Many companies encourage their employees to make charitable contributions by offering workplace giving programs, through which your contributions are deducted directly from your paycheck. Ask your human resources department whether your company offers this giving opportunity.
Your monthly contribution can make a difference:
- $5/month gives one dog a month’s worth of heartworm prevention
- $15/month provides flea and tick treatment for one dog or cat
- $25 pays for all initial vaccines for one cat or dog
- $50 pays for two homeless pet to be spayed/neutered
- $80 provides 8 needy families free pet food so they can keep their pets.

Donate. Make a donation to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society and be sure to keep your gift receipt.
Match. Download the matching gift form found on your company or organization’s website. Submit it to your HR department. Once signed and approved, please mail your form to:

We encourage all GMHS participants and fundraisers to use matching gifts to help meet their goals. However, please note that each company has a different matching gift disbursement schedule. It may take anywhere from 2-6 months for GMHS to receive your matching gift.
