Join us for a festive Kids Movie Night at the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society on Friday, December 19, from 5:30–8:00 PM! Kids are invited to wear their favorite Christmas pajamas and enjoy an evening of pizza, popcorn, holiday treats, a fun holiday craft, and a showing of Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure! The cost is $25 per child, with all proceeds helping our homeless pets. Recommended for ages 6–12. Advance registration is required. Join us in the GMHS Lobby for Adopt a Stuffy!
Children are invited to choose a stuffed pet, make a collar for their new friend, give them a name, and receive an official adoption certificate. We’ll provide all the supplies—just bring your creativity and excitement!
This family-friendly event is open to all ages, and no registration is required. Stop by anytime between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on November 15. Donations are kindly suggested to support the pets of GMHS.

Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society and Fixin’ to Save Spay & Neuter Clinic will be hosting a rabies and microchip clinic on September 20 from 11AM-2PM at its clinic location in the White Marsh Shopping Center in Hayes. Sponsored by the Mathews Community Foundation, the event will offer free rabies vaccinations and free microchips for clients. It is open to friendly cats and dogs. Registration opens August 20 and spots are limited.

Join us Saturday, August 16 between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM in the GMHS Lobby for a hands-on event! We’ll be making our own playdough pets, plus crafting toys to brighten the days of our homeless animals.
