Kitten Shower

Kitten season is here, and the tiniest members of our shelter need your help. Join the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society for a Kitten Shower on April 4 from 1–2 PM at our shelter located at 6620 Jackson Lane in Gloucester. Bring donations like canned cat pâté food, powdered milk replacement (KMR), playpens, or Purina Kitten Chow to help care for vulnerable kittens. Enjoy games, cake, a photo booth, and learn how you can become a kitten foster. You can even name a future kitten for a $25 donation. Your support helps us save fragile newborn kittens and give them the chance to grow strong and find loving homes.

Unleash Your Heart for GMHS!

Unleash Your Heart for Paws supports the GMHS mission to save lives, reduce animal suffering, and strengthen compassion in our community.

No formal event, no dress code, and no planning required—just the opportunity to help homeless pets! Every bid, purchase, or donation goes directly toward providing shelter, food, and critical medical care for animals in need.

GMHS provides a safe place for homeless pets until they find the loving homes they deserve. Your support also helps sustain programs like our Pet Pantry, which assists families struggling to feed their pets.

It takes more than $311,000 each year just to provide basic medical care for shelter animals. Your participation helps ensure that when someone rescues an animal in need, there is always a safe place to bring them.

Bid, buy, or donate today—because lives truly depend on it!
